I'm sharing this to help the folks I see stuck in some nonviolence ideal. Pacifism has never made sense to me--it was like a Boomer hiccup between WWII and 1980s neoliberalism. Still, I was exasperated by the Black Bloc twenty years ago when they'd escalate protests in Portland. I saw them as young and rowdy, more interested in adrenaline than change so your take is a needed update for me. Thank you.
