Hello! Sorry for an update-only post, but I just wanted to tell everyone that the kickstarter for my latest book, The Immortal Choir Holds Every Voice, just went live a moment ago.
This is the third book in the Danielle Cain series, but if you haven’t read the first two (The Lamb Will Slaughter the Lion and The Barrow Will Send What it May), that’s alright: not only does this book stand alone in its way, but also we’re offering copies of the first books in the series as rewards and also one of the whole reasons we’re kickstarting the book is to get the money together to produce audiobook editions of the whole series.
This is my “punk rock scoobie doo” series of novellas. They are very quick and easy to read, following a trans hitchhiking anarchist named Danielle Cain who falls in with some other weirdos and sets out to investigate the magic (and demons) of the world.
This third book is a sort-of prequel, telling the stories of three characters who died in the first book. I think you’ll like it (well, I hope you do).
If you’re looking for print editions of the first two, might I recommend Firestorm Books (selling book one and book two) or your local library, or if you’d like to hear me read the first book to Robert Evans, you can hear me do so on Cool Zone Media Book Club).
You can also, of course, request the book at your local library!
I'M SO FUCKING HAPPY IT HIT STARTER GOAL IN 2 HOURS!!! When I bounced excitedly on over to the website to sign up for it I definitely sat there watching the number increase by HUNDREDS every few minutes while signing up and I sat on that dopamine for quite a little while. Even when you're not intentionally spreading hope you do so, there are so many of us everywhere I look. I love resistance and divergence and the art that goes along with it, I just wish we weren't forced into it. BUT WHATEVER HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!
So excited for all the audiobooks. Who else wishes that Margaret would magically have the time to narrate them all herself?
